A Helping of Love: Taste of Love #3 by Andrew Grey
Helping of Love: Taste of Love Bk 3
By Andrew Grey
We are back in Carlisle, PN with the characters Mr. Grey brought us in A Taste of Love, at Café Belgie. This time we go through the opening of a new restaurant with our characters. Darryl and Billy took a trip to Chicago, while they were there Billy fell in love with authentic Greek cooking and they decided that Carlisle needed one too.
Russell Baker is a chef fresh out of school that specialized in Greek cuisine. Darryl hires him and starts training him for the new restaurant, to be the head chef in charge. Russell is very excited about this, he is young but has a lot of ideas that he feels might go very well in this setting. Darryl tries his normal supplier for a quote on setting up the new place – Acropolis – and it was way too high. So, he decided to give Gold Restaurant Supply a try, they had been after his business for over a year.
Peter Chistopoulos got the call from Annette while he was eating his breakfast that morning. She hinted that she might even be able to squeeze a bonus out of their boss, Jerry, if he could land this account. So, Peter got his schedule rearranged and went to Carlisle to see what he could for this new hit restaurant.
Russell looked at him, not the chair he was in, not the useless legs, but him, from the very beginning. Too bad he had a boyfriend, but from the first time he saw Barry Peter decided he didn’t like him and that he wasn’t good enough for Russell. They became good friends as Peter helped Russell set up the restaurant.
As we go through this story we get so caught up in these people’s lives, the abuse Russell gets out from under, Peter learning that he is not a burden to someone else and that it is okay to let a lover into his life. I loved this book. These men pull you in so fast and keep you glued to the pages. I have a hard time putting any Mr. Grey’s books down when I am reading them, that they always rate outstanding 5 stars from me. Please, pick this one if you like hot men because his books are always full of them.
I am not sure if they will ever meet, but now that we have a fire fighter series set in Carlisle also, maybe they will start coming to one of the restaurants? We can hope. Thank you again, Mr. Grey for sharing your world with us.
