Blast from the Past by J. L. Merrow this blasts from more than one direction

Blast from the Past By J. L. Merrow In Blast from the Past, Rael, a paranormal illegal, comes into contact with his old lover, who is determined to get him back, saying his human can’t give the succubus everything he needs. Meanwhile, Lars Thornsson – a half Valkyrie, half human officer of the Paranormal Enforcement Agency – and Rael’s lover, is trying to find the paranormal that is setting businesses on fire. The problem with Rael’s old lover, his is an Envy Demon… and no fun. He manages to almost get Lars killed, and tries to get Rael sent back to Hell with him. It was a short fun read, very hot between Rael and Lars, as one would expect between an immortal half Valkyrie and a succubus. The sarcasm from Lars’ partner, Rochelle, is great. The fact that Rael ends up with a pet at the end of this story is not surprising to the people who have read this series and love these characters as much as I do. I rate this book 5 stars, it does not pretend to be more than it is, a short funny hot read and it totally delivers on all points.

About lyssareviews

I am a single, pagan female who loves the written word. I am doing reviews on books to feed my reading habit. I will post those reviews here. I also love movies, TV shows, and laughing with my friends. I love to cochet, and am starting to spin my own yarn. Boy, do I think there very fun stories in that! So they might show up here. Also I have two cats and a small dog. Valkyrie, Miss Dottie and Sir Luck the Pup.... their stories may also sneak in here from time to time, to stay tuned.
