Angel’s Intution by Liz Borino

This is a combination of two previously published books, Angel’s Hero and Angel’s Truth.  Very little of the original books has changed.

These are stories of two men that have been together for awhile and established as strong, trusting, loving relationship, like so many of Ms. Borino’s boys in her stories.

In this collection Aaron (nicked named Angel by his husband), a CIA operative that specializes in the Middle East is pulled from a mission he had been preparing for for months.  His husband, Jordan, is leading the Army’s part of the mission says this will be his last mission, with the transfer of an inexperienced operative to lead the mission he can’t do this anymore and is tour is coming to its end.

Throughout these books we get glimpses of their life up to this point as they are separated and fighting to get back together.  Mission gone wrong, crooked military leaders, people trying to come between them all conspire through this book to create a sense of urgency that keeps you turning the pages and reading as fast as you can.  To find the end and these wonderful men can find each other and hang on to their life.

Five stars, excellent book with great character development, fun scenery and a dire predicament that our boys have to find their way through.  Very realistically worded and situations created with such craft that you never want to come up for air.  Love Ms Borino’s writing and this a must have if you like her.

About lyssareviews

I am a single, pagan female who loves the written word. I am doing reviews on books to feed my reading habit. I will post those reviews here. I also love movies, TV shows, and laughing with my friends. I love to cochet, and am starting to spin my own yarn. Boy, do I think there very fun stories in that! So they might show up here. Also I have two cats and a small dog. Valkyrie, Miss Dottie and Sir Luck the Pup.... their stories may also sneak in here from time to time, to stay tuned.
